Many congratulations to Alex and Neil who booked me last December to photograph their wedding at Burgh House in Hampstead. This was my first visit there and I always look forward to new venues. And I wasn’t disappointed – its a magnificent venue in one of the nicest parts of London. With the Christmas decorations and roaring fires this small and intimate wedding had a lovely feeling and atmosphere about it.
After a short ceremony we all braved the cold to take a few formal group shots outside and then it was quickly back inside for champagne and canapes. This lasted for about an hour before we all headed off down the hill to the reception venue – The Freemason Arms. This was just a short 10 minute walk with some fantastic views over Hampstead Heath. We even had had time to take a few portraits on the Heath itself just before dusk.
I stayed on a few more hours to capture the mood and atmosphere at The Freemason Arms before heading home. Below are some of my many favourite shots so please feel free to add any comments. The complete set can also be viewed by clicking here. Please ask Alex or Neil for the password. These images can also be seen on my Facebook Page so please feel free to have a look and to tag yourselves.
