wedding reception by The Thames

Many congrats to Leah and Jonathan who recently got married at Marble Hill House in Twickenham.

This was my first ever visit  and I really enjoyed shooting there with lots of opportunities for capturing great images, in particular the long lawn behind the house leading down to The Thames.

Leah and Jonathan had a short ceremony in front of around 40 guests in the elegant Georgian room upstairs, a very picturesque setting indeed. This was followed by drinks and canapes on the lawn outside basked in warm sunshine. After a few formal family shots and some bridal portraits everyone headed off to the reception in a routemaster bus. This was held at The Victoria Restaurant in Sheen  a really cool gastro type pub

This was a really lovely small and intimate wedding, which is how they should be. You can see from the images below what a great day it turned out to be and how everyone really enjoyed themselves. I’ve also posted some on my Facebook Page so please feel free to have a look. The complete set can also be viewed on my main website –
