I absolutely love photographing marquee weddings and when Pat and Tom asked me to cover theirs I was pretty excited to say the least. Not only that but it was very local to me in the very picturesque village of Mapledurham right on the banks of The Thames. I’ve photographed several weddings here in the past including some in the village church.
But Pat and Tom got married at St Anne’s Church in Caversham and had their reception behind Mapledurham House rather than on the front lawn next to the church. This was a huge and very impressive marquee in such a beautiful and spacious setting, ideal for photography.
This was such a great wedding – a fantastic setting, plenty of good food (including a nocturnal hog roast) and guests who certainly knew how to party !
Below are some of my favourites from the day. Please feel free to add any comments.
